Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the FUTURE HACKATHON™ AI Immersive website, waitlist, contact forms, surveys, assessments, or Workforce Intelligence Platform (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Eligibility and conduct
The Services are intended for students, educators, employers, partners, and invited guests. You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm, disrupt, or interfere with other users, our systems, or our partners.
User-submitted content
When you submit information through waitlist forms, contact forms, surveys, assessments, or platform profiles, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You grant us permission to use that information to operate the event, deliver services, and generate aggregated workforce insights.
Surveys and assessments
Future Hackathon™ may use surveys, assessments, feedback forms, and other evaluation tools to understand participant experiences, skills, interests, confidence, learning progress, and program outcomes. Unless otherwise stated, participation in optional surveys is voluntary. Certain assessments or information may be required when they are an integral part of a specific program, credential, learning pathway, or service. We may use aggregated or de-identified findings for program development, research, impact reporting, grant reporting, partnership development, and other activities supporting HILL Foundation's charitable mission.
Donations and charitable contributions
Hill Innovation Learning Labs Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations made to HILL Foundation are voluntary and support our charitable mission, programs, operations, and community impact. Charitable contributions are generally non-refundable except where required by law. The deductibility of a contribution may depend on the donor's individual circumstances and whether goods or services were provided in exchange for the contribution. Donors should consult their tax advisor regarding their specific tax situation.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, Future Hackathon™ curriculum, educational materials, graphics, program content, branding, resources, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Hill Innovation Learning Labs Foundation, Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Participants may use materials provided to them for personal educational purposes unless otherwise stated. Materials may not be reproduced, commercially distributed, sold, republished, or presented as another organization's proprietary curriculum without prior written permission. Ownership of work independently created by participants remains with the participant, subject to any separate terms applicable to third-party platforms used to create that work.
Artificial intelligence and third-party technology
Our programs may introduce participants to AI platforms, software, websites, applications, and technology operated by third parties. Third-party services may have their own terms of use, privacy policies, age requirements, and data practices. Participants are responsible for complying with those requirements when creating or using third-party accounts. AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or inappropriate. Participants are encouraged to independently evaluate AI-generated outputs, protect confidential information, and use human judgment when making decisions based on AI-assisted work. HILL Foundation does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, content, or practices of third-party platforms.
In-person labs and events
Participants attending AI STEAM Lab programs are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and follow reasonable instructions provided by staff, instructors, volunteers, venue representatives, and program partners. Harassment, discrimination, threats, violence, intentional disruption, unsafe conduct, misuse of equipment, or inappropriate behavior toward participants, staff, volunteers, instructors, or partners is prohibited. We reserve the right to deny admission, restrict access, or remove a participant when reasonably necessary for safety, security, program integrity, or violation of these Terms. Participants are responsible for appropriately using equipment and technology made available during programs and for promptly notifying staff of damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
Assumption of risk and limitation of responsibility
Participation in technology-based and in-person learning activities involves ordinary risks, including risks associated with using computers, internet services, third-party platforms, equipment, travel to and from program locations, and participation in group activities. Participants agree to follow applicable safety instructions. To the extent permitted by law, HILL Foundation is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from a participant's misuse of technology, violation of third-party terms, reliance on AI-generated information, unauthorized disclosure of personal or confidential information by the participant, or failure to follow program instructions. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be waived.
Program changes and availability
We may modify, reschedule, relocate, suspend, or discontinue programs, events, website features, technology, resources, or other Services when necessary. Program schedules, instructors, technology, curriculum, locations, and availability may change.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific employment, internship, certification, or partnership outcomes. Participation in FUTURE HACKATHON™ events and platform activities does not create an employment relationship with HILL Foundation or its partners.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hill Innovation Learning Labs Foundation, Inc. and its partners, officers, and volunteers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services or participation in events.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
